At-Home Shirt Pressers

Own a heat press? Help us press event shirts from home! Volunteers will commit to pressing a set number of shirts and returning them by Wednesday, March 12, 2025. We provide all materials and instructions, and pickup/dropoff will be coordinated within 24 hours of signup.

At-Home Kite Assemblers

Help us get kites ready for the big day! Volunteers will assemble a set number of kites at home following a thorough process to ensure they are flight-ready. Each kite takes about 3-6 minutes to assemble, with a minimum commitment of 10 kites. This could be a fun activity for the entire family.

Group Shirt Pressers & Kite Assemblers

Join us at select dates in a gym setting to help press shirts and assemble kites alongside other volunteers! This opportunity is subject to availability and will be removed once inventory needs are met.

Lockhart Kite Day - March 15, 2025

Be part of an unforgettable day at Lockhart City Park! Volunteers are needed all day to assist with kite flying, bounce houses, concessions, registration, games, and more. This is a great way to connect with the community and ensure a smooth and fun-filled experience for families. Various shifts and roles are available, including:

  • Kite Flying Assistants – Help participants get their kites in the air and keep the field organized.

  • Bouncy House Attendants – Supervise inflatable activities and ensure safe play.

  • Kite/Shirt Distributor – Hand out pre-ordered kites and shirts at the pickup station.

  • BBQ Concessions – Help assemble hamburgers and hot dogs for our food booth.

  • Concession Cashier – Take food orders and handle transactions.

  • Restroom Attendant – Help maintain restroom cleanliness and manage lines.

  • Football/Soccer Field Coach – Organize fun field games for kids.

  • Bubbles & Art Attendant – Oversee the creative and bubble play areas.

  • Trash Gatherer – Assist with event cleanup and ensure trash is properly disposed of.

  • General Assistance – Be flexible and help where needed throughout the event.

  • Shuttle Van Driver (By Invitation Only) – Transport attendees to and from pickup points.

  • Photographer (Must Have Own Camera) – Capture moments from the event for future promotions.
