Social Media Intern
Position: Social Media Intern
Location: Lockhart, Texas
Duration: Summer Internship (8-12 weeks) Hours: Part-time, up to 10 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
Create engaging and original content to promote our organization and programs
Schedule and publish posts to maintain a consistent social media presence
Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and engagement
Capture high-quality photos and videos during our athletic sessions
Collaborate with the communications team to develop social media strategies
Research industry trends and provide recommendations for content optimization
Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages
Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns
Stay up-to-date with social media best practices and emerging platforms
Requirements:
High school junior or senior or College student (Lockhart, Texas or surrounding areas)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in social media platforms
Basic photography skills and an eye for capturing engaging moments
Creative thinking and the ability to generate unique content ideas
Passion for sports and/or community involvement
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
